The commercial relationship between the large investment fund Blackstone and the genocidal state of Israel was cemented by two recent milestones. In December 2025, Blackstone signed a strategic alliance with Phoenix Financial, Israel’s leading financial institution. Through this agreement, $5 billion was committed to invest in credit strategies managed by Blackstone, covering areas such as corporate, real estate and asset-based credit.
This collaboration allows Phoenix Financial to leverage Blackstone’s global credit capabilities to offer its clients access to joint investment opportunities in alternative assets. Blackstone, which manages more than £1.2 trillion in assets globally, thus acts as a key financial partner for the Israeli company’s international expansion.
In May 2024, Blackstone’s most significant corporate transaction in Israel took place with the acquisition of a majority stake in Priority Software, a Tel Aviv-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provider. The transaction valued the company at nearly $800 million and integrated the Israeli company into its global portfolio, which includes more than 230 companies.
These investments are part of Blackstone’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Israel, where it has a local office. The alliance with Phoenix Financial channels significant financial flows from Israel to the funds managed by the multinational, in a context of expansion of its private credit business globally.
Since the start of Israel’s recent genocide in Gaza in October 2023, more than 72,000 Palestinians have been killed, more than 600 of them after the announcement of the ceasefire agreement.
